Delivery Policy

We ship Maru body oils to the United States, packaged with care from our home in Cape Town, South Africa.

We deliver to the 48 contiguous states, Alaska and Washington DC. Hawaii, US territories and military (APO/FPO) addresses are not covered yet.

Processing time

Orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding South African public holidays). You will receive an email with tracking details once your order has been dispatched.

Shipping options

Two options are offered at checkout, Standard and Express, both by tracked international courier.

• Standard: $10, 10 to 16 days from dispatch
• Express: $25, 5 to 7 days from dispatch

Shipping is charged in South African rand at checkout. The dollar figures are a guide, converted at the same rate as our prices.

Transit times are estimates provided by our courier and customs partners and are not guaranteed. Customs inspection, weather and carrier operations are outside our control.

Duties and import taxes

US orders ship duties paid. Import duties and taxes are settled before delivery, so there is nothing to pay when your parcel arrives.

Tracking

Every order ships with tracking. The link in your dispatch email follows the parcel from Cape Town through export, the international leg and final delivery in the United States.

Collection

Collection is not available on international orders. Every order is delivered to the address you give at checkout.

Failed deliveries

If a delivery fails because the address is incorrect or no one is available to receive the parcel, the courier will attempt redelivery. Repeated failed attempts may result in the parcel being returned to us, and additional shipping fees may apply for a re-send.

Lost or damaged parcels

If your parcel is lost in transit or arrives damaged, contact us at contact@maruskincare.co.za within 7 days of the expected delivery date and we will work with the courier to resolve the issue.
